Katy Perry and Taylor Swift clearly don’t have bad blood anymore! The American Idol judge, 39, made a stylish appearance at the 34-year-old Grammy winner’s Eras Tour concert in Sydney, Australia this week. Perry donned a chic two-piece pinstripe set to the show, which she showed off in a new Instagram post for her 206 million followers.
The “Dark Horse” hitmaker flaunted her sculpted abs in a black, striped low-cut tank and matching low-waisted trousers with the same pattern that highlighted her tiny waist. Perry also shared a sweet selfie taken with the “Cruel Summer” songwriter at the event, making Swifties’ hearts melt with her caption: “got to see an old friend shine tonight.”

Perry and Swift may be the best of pals now, but as fans know, this wasn't always the case. Perry's decision to support Swift on her tour coincides with her candid explanation about why they chose to set aside their tumultuous past. Their previously headline-making drama, which appeared to serve as inspiration for Swift's 2014 hit "Bad Blood" and Perry's 2017 song "Swish Swish," has been resolved.
During an interview on the Howard Stern Show in July 2020, Perry revealed her and Swift's intention to publicly put an end to their feud, with the aim of setting a positive example for their younger fans. "Gossip in life can take the elevator but the truth takes the stairs. It just takes time," the "Roar" singer said at the time.
According to Perry, the media had blown their disagreement out of proportion and they are now "super friendly." "What I’m so grateful for is we did get to make up publicly and got to be an example of redemption for young girls," she went on. "I always wanted the best for her and now we can talk about the best we want for each other."
At the concert, Perry wore her signature raven tresses down, parted in the center and styled into effortless loose waves. As for her makeup look, the "Teenage Dream" artist sported black liner, smokey gray eyeshadow, sky-high lashes, rosy blush and a coral lipstick. To top off her ensemble, she accessorized with layered silver chain necklaces, chunky wristlets, dangly shiny earrings and a bunch of friendship bracelets given to her by fans.
In her new IG post, Perry added pics of her and Swifties embracing each other, footage of Swift killing it on stage, stunning mirror selfies and a cute photo with fellow Swiftie and honored guest, Rita Ora. Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce and Ora's husband Taika Waititi were also in attendance.
As seen in comments beneath Perry's post, fans couldn't get enough of her get-up or the sight of her and Swift posing together. "Queens of poppppppp," one user wrote as another added: "2014 me would’ve never believed this would happen." One other commented: "Literally just end all the fights and make a songggg."
