Katy Perry Looks Pretty In Pink In Rosy, Feathery And Glittery Dress On Instagram
As for her glam, the "Teenage Dream" singer wore her signature raven tresses in an elegant half-up, half-down style. For her makeup look, the mom of one sported rosy eyeshadow, black cat-eye liner, sky-high lashes, radiant blush and a bubblegum pout.
Naturally, fans were in awe of Perry's glamorous number, and headed to her February 29th post comments section to share their thoughts. "Pink is SO for you," one wrote as another deemed her to be the "prettiest."
Someone else added: "How are you so stunning always!" as one other noted, regarding her epic style streak lately: "Another day, another slay." Other fans asked her for "new music." One commented: "Where is KP6???" asking for her sixth studio album. One other user replied: "KP6 cover art?"
This new post comes after Perry confirmed during her Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance last month that she is indeed working on new music, and leaving her role as a judge on American Idol after seven seasons.
While speaking about her Idol journey with host Jimmy Kimmel on his late night talk show, the "Dark Horse" artist explained: "I think this probably will be my last show, my last season for Idol. I mean I love Idol so much. It’s connected me with the heart of America, but I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse to my own beat, you what I’m saying Jimmy?"
Kimmel, 56, then asked Perry what her fellow Idol judges Bryan, 47, and Richie, 74, would think of her leaving the show. Perry joked: "Well they’ll find out tonight!"
She went on, adding that Bryan and Richie "know that I have some things planned for this year." She added: "So it’s going to be a very, very exciting year … for all popstar girlies!"
The Grammy nominee continued, and gushed about her Idol coworkers: "I love them so much." She revealed that Bryan and Richie had been cognizant of her intentions to depart from Idol upon witnessing her presence "in the studio."
Perry went on: "They figure I’ve been in the studio for a while so they figured something is coming. I love the show so much but I want to go and see the world and maybe bring new music."
