Kelly Clarkson‘s post-divorce glow is real! The 41-year-old “Since U Been Gone” singer is looking better than ever these days due to her epic 40-lb weight loss – and she has been flaunting her incredible svelte new figure in one glam outfit after another. Her fans are understandably in awe of her weight loss transformation; but how did she do it?
If we are to believe insiders, the Kelly Clarkson Show host has not gone down the controversial weight loss injections route, and has instead focused on changing up her diet and incorporating exercise into her weekly routine. And we think we believe them!
How Did Kelly Clarkson Lose 40 Pounds So Quickly?
"She's limited her sugar and carb intake," an insider reportedly told Life & Style, via Ok!, who also confirmed "she's not" on Ozempic or any of the other weight loss injections that many celebs have been accused of being on this year.
"She's cut out soda, chips, biscuits, cheese and tortillas. And she's added exercise, mostly cardio, into her weekly routine. She's lost about 40 pounds. She feels amazing," the source continued, before adding: "Kelly, like many people, can be an emotional eater, so she gained weight during the divorce."
Fans started noticing a change in Kelly's figure back in July, when another insider reportedly told Radar Online that the "Stronger" singer had lost 15 lbs. "[Clarkson is] finally back on a healthy eating plan, and it's already starting to show," a source said at the time, adding, "She's on a regimented, balanced diet that's low on carbs and calories but high on protein."

The "Mine" singer looked incredible for her latest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month, wearing a stunning black Elie Saab lace flared jumpsuit from the designer's Spring 2023 collection. The jumpsuit featured a semi-sheer top with floral lace detailing and super-flattering elongated flared legs. Her hair was worn in long mermaid waves, while her makeup was flawless and glowing.
On The 'Today' Show
The Grammy-winner performed on Today on September 22nd, and blew fans away with her glittering on-stage ensemble which highlighted her super-trim frame. Kelly wore a Roberto Cavalli flared leg jacquard jumpsuit, teamed with a dramatic black blazer with exaggerated sleeves. We're obsessed with her half up, half down hairstyle, too!
At The 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival
The mom-of-two wowed fans in a sexy all-black ensemble while performing at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada back in September. She wore a black lace glove catsuit with a pair of thigh-high heeled boots on stage, finished off with a matching blazer mini dress on top.

Just last month on her talk show, Kelly wowed in a pair of light blue high-rise, straight leg Another Tomorrow jeans, which she teamed with the matching cotton-chambray shirt and a waist-cinching Etro floral embroidery denim belt. She elongated her legs even further by adding a pair of cream-colored Gucci platform sandals.
