Kelly Clarkson thrilled her fanbase with the news of her upcoming residency in Las Vegas, set for the summer and fall seasons this year. Despite the excitement, several devotees of the “Since U Been Gone” singer, 42, are voicing their frustration on X (formerly Twitter) over the “high” costs of tickets sold through Ticketmaster.
On February 6th, Clarkson broke the news of the residency to her 7.6M Instagram followers, writing: “I’m so excited to be back in Vegas! We’re bringing the studio to the stage this time with ‘Studio Sessions!’ See you soon! Be sure to sign up for fan club emails on my website, they could contain fun things! Link in bio.”
Soon after, one user tweeted: “Dearest @kellyclarkson I’m so happy that your tickets are no longer going for 35.00 each but can I have a loan? I’ve been with you since the Idol tour and I can’t be sitting in the south 40.”
Another wrote: “Wish the pricing was better, but mainly the fees.” They continued: “they are ridiculous.” Someone else shared: “Very reasonable tickets to Kelly Clarkson in Las Vegas – GA= $269 then range from $160-400. VIP are not on sale with the Citicard presale. Just torturing myself.”
