Kelly Clarkson welcomed fellow NBC talk show host Jenna Bush Hager onto The Kelly Clarkson Show and the pair had a rare conversation about Kelly’s recent weight loss. Though the “Stronger” singer has been flaunting her new slim figure in various curve-hugging outfits, she seldom addresses her 40lb transformation, but it seems like Jenna brings out her chatty side.
Jenna Bush Hager and her twin sister, Barbara Bush, appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Nov. 6th to promote their new children’s book, Love Comes First. But somehow, the conversation got around to the singer’s weight loss, and she let it slip that she doesn’t fit into her clothes anymore! Keep reading to hear more about Kelly’s weight loss.
Kelly Clarkson chats with Jenna Bush Hager about her weight loss
The twin authors were chatting about their childhood, and Jenna mentioned that she had a “chubby” stage growing up, to which Kelly cheekily responded, “I’ve had many stages.” With a laugh, the conversation then turned to how Jenna and Barbara used to share clothes growing up, and Jenna pointed out that she doesn’t fit in her sister’s clothes anymore.
This prompted the “Breakaway” singer to share, “I don’t fit into mine!” A good problem to have, the three women agreed. Kelly then went on to say, “I love losing weight. I love losing weight, but here’s the thing. Jeans are so hard. I feel like jeans are so hard when you have a butt…”
The group shared a laugh and the songwriter then added, “I’m the worst. Jeans are so hard… this is a first world problem.” We get it, Kelly! Finding the perfect pair of jeans is no easy task.
