Kelly Clarkson wowed the audience at her sold-out Las Vegas residency at the Bakkt Theater in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, wearing a romantic tulle gown of blush pink layered over a black, long-sleeved, sheer top. Her figure was emphasized with an edgy black leather belt.
The “Since U Been Gone” singer’s top also featured ripped fabric and rose-print graphics, and she donned a black lacy bra underneath, serving major pretty and punky vibes. Naturally, fans couldn’t get enough of her outfit, and shared plenty of clips and photos from her performance on social media:
For this head-turning look, Clarkson added shimmering stud earrings and wore her long, dirty blonde tresses in a voluminous, tousled ponytail. During her shows, the Grammy winner, 41, has been treating concertgoers to a setlist that honored her latest divorce-inspired record, Chemistry, along with live renditions of her most beloved hits.
Her long-awaited residency, which began on July 28th, will run until August 19th. The American Idol alum dropped her tenth studio album, Chemistry on June 23rd after previously releasing pop-rock-tinged singles like “Me” and “Mine.”
Last year, Clarkson finalized her tumultuous divorce from Brandon Blackstock, an event which inspired her to create what is often dubbed her “divorce” album. This collection of 14 songs reflects her emotions on the separation.
Clarkson and Blackstock first tied the knot in October 2013. They share two children: 9-year-old daughter River Rose and 7-year-old son Remington “Remy” Alexander.
Since her split, Clarkson has spoken candidly and publicly about themes like overcoming heartbreak on The Kelly Clarkson Show and in interviews. Many fans have commended her for this, and her transparency and relatability in her most recent lyrics.
Along with Chemistry tracks, during her recent live performances, Clarkson has also been performing a selection of songs from her two-decade repertoire, such as “Breakaway,” “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” “Miss Independent,” and more (and looking incredible while doing it, might we add!)
