Kelly Clarkson Says 'It's Not Hard To Be Vulnerable,' Except When Discussing Her Two Children
The "Mine" singer explained how talking about the divorce may also mean talking about the two children she and her ex-husband share, which she said she wasn't comfortable with.
"It's not hard for me to be vulnerable as a person. But when it involves other people's lives, that's when it's hard," the "Piece by Piece" singer told E! News on September 12th, adding: "You have to navigate that line of 'Wait, is that OK?' or 'Can I talk about my kid with this?'"
FYI, Kelly and Brandon share daughter River Rose, 9, and son Remington Alexander, 7, with the "Since U Been Gone" singer being awarded primary physical custody of their two children. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the "Stronger" hitmaker also agreed to pay $45,601 a month in child support until their kids "reach the age of eighteen," graduate high school, or become self-supporting.
"Like in my heartbreak, there are certain things I'll talk about and certain things I won't," the "Because of You" singer continued, adding: "It's not that I'm not comfortable talking about it. It's just I don't if other people are involved. It's [about] how to toe that line."
