Fans Call Kelly Clarkson ‘Another Ozempic Queen’ After Her Instagram Video Announcing A Christmas Special

Last Friday, Kelly Clarkson took to Instagram to announce that she would be hosting NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller for the holiday tree lighting, but many fans were more focused on the singer’s new slimmed down physique. “Another Ozempic Queen?” one fan commented on the post, referencing the prescription diabetic drug that many celebrities have taken to help them lose weight.
Sources close to the talk show host deny Kelly’s use of the drug and instead chalk it up to a clean diet and exercise. It’s not uncommon for the “Since You’ve Been Gone” singer’s weight to fluctuate due to her hypothyroidism, a thyroid disorder that can cause weight gain. But this time, Kelly is looking particularly slim, and fans are wondering if Ozempic has something to do with it.
In a collaborative Instagram post with @KellyClarksonShow, the mother-of-two announced that she would be hosting the holiday tree lighting in New York City on Nov. 29th. In the video, the star is wearing a sleek leather jumpsuit paired with tons of gold jewelry, and according to fans, the outfit is really working. “You look amazing!” one fan commented on the post, adding three red hearts.
“You look 19 again!” another fan posted, again showering the television host with red hearts. “Amazingly beautiful!” one user added.
Kelly’s weight loss has been quite the topic of conversation, and a source close to her revealed to Life & Style that the singer’s new look is the result of a strict diet and fitness routine. “She’s limited her sugar and carb intake,” the source explained. “She’s cut out soda, chips, biscuits, cheese and tortillas. And she’s added exercise, mostly cardio, into her weekly routine.”
The source also added that the “Stronger” singer is an “emotional eater,” and that Kelly’s recent divorce may have contributed to her weight gain. Clarkson’s divorce from Brandon Blackstock was finalized in March of 2022, and was a very emotional process for the performer, which she explained in an interview with People earlier this year.
