Kelly Clarkson (a.k.a. the queen of little black dresses) rocked another sleek all-black get-up during The Voice battles, and fans are loving it. The stylish coach, 40, uploaded a photo of herself in her iconic red Voice chair in an Instagram post for her 6.5 million followers.
The “Since U Been Gone” hitmaker donned a plunging LBD with gold embellishment details at the waist, and added a black blazer with structured shoulder details. Our favorite part of her look had to be her shimmering gold accessories, including a long necklace with a black pendant and a gothic, edgy black choker piece!

In her caption, the “Breakaway” singer wrote, “#TeamKelly is ready to crush it on #TheVoice!” For the Battles event, she wore her long blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled into her signature elegant, loose waves. Along with her standout dress, she also added gold shiny feather jewelry pieces, a black braided hair extension and silver rings.
The Kelly Clarkson Show host’s blazer cuffs featured a springtime-appropriate floral pattern, and her gown had ruffles, proving that every time you look closely at her get-up, you’re bound to find more exquisite details!

Soon after her first post, the Grammy winner added another one— a video in which she gave fans a better look at her makeup for the night and opened up about how bittersweet the musical competition show’s Battles rounds can be.
“Hey what’s up y’all we are hanging out, this is the Battles,” she says in the video, adding, “We’re shooting it right now. It’s getting very tense in here. I don’t like this part because a part of my team goes home.” Clarkson continued, “But this is where people really show you who they are as an artist so it’s pretty cool.”
