Kelly Clarkson‘s recent 40-lb weight loss continues to impress her fans, who recently expressed their admiration through a fervent response to an Instagram post she shared. The post featured the Grammy winner, 41, donning a custom vest designed by rising fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk, adorned with the number 58 in honor of the fifty-eighth Super Bowl.

Alongside the vest, Clarkson sported a form-fitting black top and sleek leggings, which accentuated her newly toned physique. Fans flocked to the comments section, applauding the “Mine” singer’s chic and sporty style and lauding her progress in her weight loss journey.

To complete her get-up, Clarkson wore white sneakers and styled her signature dirty blonde tresses in a high ponytail and accessorized with shiny hoop earrings. She captioned the February 11th post for her 7.5 million followers: “Shout out to @kristinjuszczyk for this amazing vest! I’ve been wearing it all weekend while doing my shows in Vegas!”

The Kelly Clarkson Show host went on: “It’s so cozy and I’m loving all your designs you’ve been making, much love! Since my Cowboys didn’t make it, let’s go 49ers!” Clarkson’s followers then headed to her comments section to hype up the cute vest and her slimmer figure.

“You look amazing,” one user wrote as another added: “Love this you look so cute!” Someone else commented: “gorgeous!” as one other noted: “Loveee it you look incredible.” Another asked: “How did you lose your weight?” while also saying that she looked “amazing.”

Earlier this year on her talk show, Clarkson was speaking to actor Kevin James, who complimented her on her appearance. She then revealed, “Well, I was told I was pre-diabetic. That’s literally what happened. I wasn’t shocked. I was a tiny bit overweight.”

She continued, telling the King of Queens actor, 58: "But I wasn't shocked by it. They were like, 'You're pre-diabetic. You're right on the borderline.' And I was like, 'But I'm not there yet…' Then I waited two years and then I was like, 'OK,' I'll do something about it."

Although there has been speculation about her potential use of Ozempic, a controversial diabetes medication rumored to aid in rapid weight loss, Clarkson has repeatedly emphasized that she achieved her results (both over the years and in the past few months) through a healthy and nutritious diet plan known as the ‘Plant Paradox Diet.’

Clarkson has candidly shared her experiences of facing body shaming during her rise to fame on American Idol in 2002. Over the years, she has embraced motherhood and given birth to her daughter River in 2014 and son Remington in 2016, while also dealing with fluctuations in weight caused by pregnancy.

The "Since U Been Gone" hitmaker also notably attributed her weight loss of 37 pounds in 2018 to the "lectin-free" diet outlined in Dr. Steven Gundry's book, The Plant Paradox, following her two pregnancies.

"I did it for this autoimmune disease that I had and I had a thyroid issue, and now all my levels are back up. I’m not on medicine anymore because of this book," she told Extra at the time. She also sat down with Redbook and noted that while she is looking and feeling great now, her size never affected her success and self-love.

"It’s when I’m fat that I’m happy. People think, 'Oh, there’s something wrong with her. She’s putting on weight.' I’m like, 'Oh, no! I’m sorry, but that represents happiness in my emotional world,'" she said.

Clarkson continued: "If you gauge your life on what other people think, you’re going to be in a constant state of panic trying to please everyone. People should just concentrate on their own lives and their own health and their own happiness, and whatever that looks like for you, be happy with it."

During an interview with Glamour UK in 2020, Clarkson shared her strategy for managing criticism about her weight as her career flourished. She emphasized that developing a positive and healthy mindset was her top priority before addressing her physical health and weight loss.

"I felt more pressure from people actually when I was thin, when I was really thin and not super healthy because I just was worn out, just working so hard and not keeping healthy habits. But I felt more pressure," she noted.

The "Breakaway" singer added: "It was more of magazines shoved in front of you and, 'This is what you're competing with and we've got to compete with it.' I can't compete with that. That's not even my image. That's not who I am. That's who they are."

She went on: "I fought more when I was thinner than I do now, because now I just walk in and I just look at them like, 'I dare you to say something. I'm happy in my life. I'll work on me in my time!'"
