Kelly Clarkson’s Ex Just Dropped This MAJOR Divorce Bombshell–We’re So Sad For Her!

Brandon just responded to Kelly's petition for a divorce on July 21st with similar requests for joint physical and legal custody of their children amid the split.

The "Kelly Clarkson Show" host and music manager share two children, River Rose (6) a Remington Alexander (4). Clarkson is also step-mother to Blackstock's two children from a previous relationship.

The Blast is

 that in the just-filed court docs, Blackstock's petition is similar to Clarkson's original filing. We were really hoping that these two would work it out!

In her petition, the "Stronger" singer requested that the couple's prenuptial agreement from their 2013 wedding be honored in the split. Additionally, she wants the court to deny any request on Blackstock's side for spousal support. Yikes!

The 38-year-old had been shooting her popular daytime show from their shared homes in Montana and Southern California. In true (and tragic) Hollywood fashion, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the split.
