Kelly Ripa frequently wows fans with her radiant glow and supple skin at 54, and the talk show host recently disclosed the one cosmetic surgery she might pursue down the line. Speaking on the Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, she mentioned her interest in a “mini facelift” during an open discussion with her plastic surgeon, Dr. David Rosenberg.

Ripa, who describes herself as a “minimalist” regarding cosmetic procedures, also revealed that she receives Botox injections “three times” annually. The Live with Kelly and Mark co-host also noted that she didn’t begin using Botox on her face until she was 39, despite having previously used the injections to address underarm sweating.

Kelly Ripa Opens Up About Botox 'Three Times A Year' And Says She's 'Interested' In A Mini Facelift

The mom of three (who shares Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 21, with her husband Mark Consuelos) explained: "I used to get Botox just in my armpits to stop from sweating. One day I said, 'Do you think I should put Botox in my face?' And [Dr. Rosenberg] looked at me and he goes, 'I thought this day would never come.'"

Ripa recalled: "And I was like 'Oh my God, I needed Botox'…there's a sweet spot." She stressed that she has a "super minimal" approach to Botox. The All My Children alum noted: "I'm a minimalist…I do the crow's feet and I do the neck and that's it. I do it now three times a year."

The Emmy award winner is a passionate supporter of skincare and frequently relies on topical treatments to reduce the appearance of aging. When it comes to more intensive cosmetic procedures, there's one in particular that has caught Ripa's attention. "I'm interested in the mini facelift," she said.

A "mini facelift" is a simplified version of the classic facelift, targeting specific facial areas rather than the entire face to create a firmer, younger look, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. This procedure results in a smaller scar and less recovery time compared to a standard facelift, as it primarily focuses on tightening the jowls and neck instead of addressing all three facial zones.

Should she decide to have surgery in the future, Ripa has made it clear that Dr. Rosenberg would be her preferred plastic surgeon. She quipped: "'He's an artist...he makes actual art. Dr. Rosenberg is our Taylor Swift." This also isn't the first time that Ripa has praised Botox.

As she told Glamour back in 2022: "I'm not saying it's for everyone, but it was divine for me. I did not understand that so many people around me were getting Botox—I just thought I was aging in dog years and nobody else was." Ripa also shared with the outlet that her skincare regimen involves cleansing, moisturizing, and applying sunscreen. Additionally, she incorporates a jade roller and various tools to massage her face.
