Kelly Ripa has been a favorite TV host since the early days of her career. Throughout her journey, she has consistently maintained a remarkably fit and toned physique, a feat she accomplished even after having children!
Recently, her longtime nutritionist, Dr. Daryl Gioffre, spoke with E! News to talk about what the Live host eats in a day.
He first revealed the busy lifestyle the mom of three has, as she juggles her hosting job, her podcast, and being a mother and a wife. “I’ve never met someone who is busier than Kelly. She is supermom. She is just amazing on the show. She works out seven days a week, and she maintains this incredible strength eating lifestyle that I’ve taught her.”

Kelly Ripa’s Diet As Told By Her Nutritionist
Gioffre describes strength eating as “every time you’re hungry or you’re gonna put something in your body, it has to be something that is going to strengthen you from the inside out.” So, no empty-calorie foods that offer no nutritional value.
Most people immediately start cutting things out from their diet which isn’t sustainable in the long run, especially when it comes to sugar. So instead, Gioffre says to slowly incorporate nutritious foods and beverages into your diet, such as a green juice.
“Just start with one thing, but master that one thing, commit to that one thing and do that one thing consistently. And then when you feel good enough that that’s part of your lifestyle, you do it on a regular basis and it’s automatic, you don’t have to think about it,” he says, “then you can add the next thing and then the next thing.”
He says Ripa starts by adding green powder (she uses his Acid-Kicking Green powder) to a glass of water, a convenient way to get your greens if you struggle eating the whole vegetable. He suggests steering clear of options containing sugary fruit juices and, instead, opting for those with green vegetables such as spinach, sprouts, and celery juice.
Following the consumption of her blend of green powder and water, Ripa enjoys her coffee, which Gioffre reveals is mixed with grass-fed butter and his Acid-Kicking Coffee Alkalizer.
The morning show star refrains from eating before going on air, according to him. Instead, she opts to have her snack after the show, which typically includes a green apple, a few tablespoons of almond butter, and a teaspoon of cinnamon mixed to create a porridge-like consistency.

For lunch, Kelly enjoys a salad consisting of microgreens, sprouts, avocado, and raw nuts. Additionally, he mentions that she indulges in raw nuts as snacks throughout the day.
Her dinner is similar to her lunch with just a few small adjustments. “She’ll add in some steamed vegetables or some sauteed vegetables or some grilled greens. And she likes to have the vegetables in season because they’re just better for you. And then she’ll have a protein and that could be grilled tofu or tahini or some fish protein.”
When she gets a sweet tooth, she still sticks to healthy options such as avocado chocolate mousse or chocolate chia pudding for fiber. The interview also said that before she hits the pillow, Ripa sips on Gioffre’s Acid-Kicking Detox Tea, which includes ingredients like turmeric, ginger, lemon, and black pepper.
He ends by saying, “It’s not about deprivation. It’s about moderation.”
