Kelly Ripa has one good reason to celebrate! The Live With Kelly & Ryan host recently shared that her oldest son, Michael Consuelos, has graduated from New York University. The star shared a family picture on Instagram to mark the occasion despite the fact that there was no in-person commencement due to Covid-19.

Ripa captioned her post, “And just like that you graduated college. MJC, the joy and pride you have brought our family is indescribable. I love you with all my heart.”
Several stars flocked to the comment section of Ripa's post to congratulate the NYU graduate.
Anderson Cooper commented, "Wow...congratulations!!!!"
Andy Cohen also commented, writing, "Tears from this."
Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos, also shared the exciting news on his profile.
The Riverdale star wrote, "#Happy virtual graduation MJC. We are so proud of you. #quarentinegraduation2020 we know it’s not what we all expected but we are so grateful to be all together on what I know must seem like the longest family trip ever."
Mark's post refers to the fact their family has been quarantining in the Caribbean, which became a source of controversy when fans first found out.
Although Ripa has been hosting Live With Kelly & Ryan remotely throughout quarantine, she never mentioned that she was not in New York City, but actually with her family in the Caribbean.
A source told People, "The family was on a trip in the Caribbean when told to shelter in place and decided to stay put."
