After announcing some exciting career news, Kelly Ripa, 52, shocked fans with her ageless appearance in a Variety shoot. She is the first of five cover stars to front Variety‘s Power of Women issue. The talk show host touched on a plethora of topics including not being given a permanent Live! office for three years and being sidelined into a janitor’s closet, fair pay, her co-host Ryan Seacrest, fighting to be heard, and more. For the issue, she wore a low-cut silky white dress from designer Jason Wu. We can’t believe how good she looks!

Kelly Ripa Wears A Plunging Silk Dress From Jason Wu On The Cover Of ‘Variety’
Variety announced that Judy Blume, Natasha Lyonne, Rosie Perez, Kelly Ripa, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez would be on their cover for their Power of Women issue, which is a yearly issue that “celebrates those who give back, putting the needs of others ahead of their own.” It was released on Wednesday, March 29th, and the event, in partnership with Lifetime, celebrated the honorees in New York on Tuesday, April 4th.
“We are excited to gather in New York to salute those who are making a difference and to amplify the vital non-profit organizations championed by this year’s honorees,” said Michelle Sobrino-Stearns, CEO & Group Publisher, Variety. “We are also grateful to Lifetime for their enduring support and partnership of Variety’s tentpole Power of Women event. We look forward to collaborating again to make this special franchise a successful gathering for all.”
For her cover, Kelly donned a beautifully-simple sleeveless white satin maxi dress with a plunging neckline from designer Jason Wu. She also wore a playful black satin dress with a high-slit and poofy sleeves. As for accessories, the talk show host complemented her ivory gown with a plethora of silver jewelry including a diamond ring and diamond stud earrings.
Her nails are particularly stylish. She opted for a pale white shimmering manicure that reminds us of the “mother of pearl” nail trend. For makeup, Kelly went for pale smokey eyeshadow, a nude lip, thick mascara, and just a hint of bronzer to highlight her impeccable cheekbones. She styled her iconic blonde hair in light curls parted down the middle.
In the early years of “Live!,” Kelly Ripa didn’t have her own bathroom. She had to share a public bathroom with members of the audience, while Regis Philbin had his own toilet. “We have a studio audience — like 250 people! — and I have to queue up.” https://t.co/72UEnNOpgi pic.twitter.com/yI96HrOQzh
