Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny have been dating for nearly all of 2023, but have they called it quits just before the new year? Insiders are reporting that “busy schedules” have caused the relationship to “run its course.” And this isn’t the first time fans have speculated a breakup. The model posted a beautiful picture of a sunset on Nov. 14th, but added a rather cryptic caption: “what’s meant for me, will simply find me,” and fans have been speculating in the comment section over whether this moody caption pointed to a rough break up.
Kendall Jenner has 294M followers on Instagram, and many of them are very invested in her romantic life, though the model has said in the past that she prefers to keep her love life private. Did Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny break up?
A source told The Messenger that the pair broke up "weeks ago", but that there was no drama involved in the split: "There's no bad blood," the source said. "They are even still in contact. Their relationship had been rocky due to their busy schedules."
The rapper is going on a world tour in 2024, so there really wasn't any hope of those schedules clearing up any time soon. The insider shared that Kendall "felt the relationship truly ran its course."
Kendall's Cryptic Instagram Post
The pair haven't been spotted together publicly since October, and in November, Kendall posted a gorgeous sunset photo to her Instagram with the caption, "what's meant for me will simply find me," and fans immediately stormed to the comment section to speculate on whether or not Kendall and her rapper boyfriend broke up. "Did conejo malo hurt you??" one fan asked, using the Spanish wording for Bad Bunny.
"Ended things with Bad Bunny?" another fan asked.
"Break up vibes," another fan added with a frowny face.
Another fan posted the word "Adios!" with many bunny emojis, while another posted the same bunny emoji followed by "left you?"
"Does that mean you finally left Bad Bunny?" another fan asked.
But other fans didn't take Kendall's caption to mean a breakup, and instead called her out for being tone-deaf.
"Girl you already have everything," one fan posted. "The face, the body, the money, a man, generational wealth, popularity. What more do you need?"
"Being ultra rich has already found you girl," another wrote.
"What more could possibly find you, Kendall?" one fan asked.
"Kendall, there's people dying," another posted, referring to Kourtney's famous line after Kim lost her diamond earring in the ocean.
But others pointed out that this phrase isn't a new one for Kendall. For Calvin Klein's fall 2023 campaign, the 27-year-old said in a video for E! News that her favorite manifestation is "I don't chase, I attract. What's meant for me will simply find me." So, her recent post could just be referencing this.
Kendall Jenner's friends weigh in
While there have been no reports on whether or not Kendall has moved on with someone else, her friends are reportedly hoping for a reunion with her ex, NBA player Devin Booker.
A source said, "Truth be told, some of them are secretly hoping she gets back together with Devin again." Kendall Jenner famously dated basketball player Devin Booker for 2 years, but were on-again-off-again for a while before breaking up for good late last year.
