Kendall Jenner has been known to dramatically switch up her hair for a day or two, but this time the 26-year-old supermodel tried out a bold new look that’s evidently here to stay. On February 24, Jenner debuted a bright red hair color that provided a significant contrast to her traditionally dark roots, and from show to show throughout fashion week she’s seemed to embrace the new look as one she’s willing to stick to.

The model has rocked blonde locks in the past and even dyed her brows for a shoot or two, but the latest ginger look appears to be more than just a wig with her roots showing through the stunning red shade. After initially debuting her new locks at the Prada runway show, Jenner then continued to rock the look throughout Milan Fashion Week with the ‘It Girl’ style perfectly accentuating her flawless skin.
This wasn’t even the only dramatic look Jenner showed off in recent weeks, and on the same day of the Prada show she was revealed as the cover star for i-D’s “The Out Of Body Issue,” where she wore a cropped blonde wig as she showed off her lithe figure in a series of provocative shots. The article spoke of how Jenner is working to regain her privacy and sense of self within the public eye, with the bold new hair showing off a new side to the 26-year-old.

Although the hair was initially molded into a harsh and slicked back style for the Prada runway, Jenner wore it down for the Off-White show which was an ode to the late Virgil Abloh, the founder of the brand who passed away from cancer at the end of last year.
While it’s unlikely the fiery red locks will stick around forever, Jenner certainly dipped her toes into one of the hottest trends of 2022 and inevitably will lead a parade of ladies trying out the same look in months to come. With her newly chopped curtain bangs to accentuate the look, Jenner’s copper locks are perhaps one of the most jaw dropping transformations of the season.
