Kendall Jenner is the only member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan to not have a baby – and despite a few pregnancy rumors, it doesn’t look like that will change any time soon, as the catwalk model actually said that she was “scared to have children” on a recent episode of The Kardashians. And if we are to believe what she said on the episode, it’s all to do with her anxiety!

Kendall Jenner Talks To Scott Disick About Her Anxiety

In the episode It Takes a Village, the 818 Tequila founder, who turned 28 on November 3rd, opened up to Scott Disick about her sky-high anxiety, and how it is affecting those around her.

Kendall went into detail about her mental health in a conversation with Disick, the father of sister Kourtney Kardashian‘s three children Mason, Penelope, and Reign, while visiting one of his home renovation projects. She started out by addressing her three-year-old dog Pyro’s separation anxiety, which she feared was caused by her own anxiety.

“I need someone to help me with my dog,” Kendall began, before confessing that Pyro “has really bad separation anxiety.” She added: “I have anxiety and I think he has anxiety. Maybe I’m the problem? Maybe he feels my anxiety. I could be the problem.”

The Talentless founder, 40, then asked her if she's had anxiety lately, to which she replied, "Yeah, I've been really bad lately." Scott then asked, "Worse than ever?" and Kendall said, "It's one of the reasons why I'm actually scared to have children," which suggests that she is afraid of passing her own anxiety onto her children.

The father-of-three then tried to ease her fears, saying, "You can't not have kids because of it, but it is scary," to which Kendall responded: "Honestly, the scariest part for me is – am I just going to get worse throughout life? Because I feel like it's worse than ever right now. The older I get, is it just going to get worse and worse and worse."

Scott then revealed that he once "had it really bad" and confessed that he "got better," which then prompted Kendall to explain to viewers that she's been suffering from anxiety since she was eight years old.

What Has Kendall Jenner Said About Her Anxiety?

"I think I was about like, eight, from what I remember," Kendall told the cameras on the show, before recalling the times she asked mom Kris Jenner to take her to doctors because she feared "something was wrong" with her.

"I thought there was like, something physically wrong with me," she recalled. "Like, I made my mom take me to a heart doctor and a lung doctor and a brain doctor and all these people because I thought something was wrong with me." Kendall went on to say that "people didn't really talk about anxiety the way they do now," and confessed, "I never knew that that's what that was until later in life being like, 'Oh, that's what that was that whole time.' And I had no clue."

This isn't the first time the supermodel has addressed her anxiety, telling Vogue in its Open Minded series back in 2021: "I remember being really young – I'd say 8, 9, 10 – and having shortness of breath and going to my mom and telling her that."

"I think being overworked and being in the situation that I'm in now is kind of what set it out of control in a way," she continued. "I've had times where I feel like I need to be rushed to the hospital because I think my heart's failing and I can't breathe and I need someone to help me. Sometimes I think I'm dying." She added: "I'll never sit here and say that I'm not fortunate. I know I live a very privileged, amazing lifestyle. I'm a very blessed girl. I'm still a human being at the end of the day."
