Kendall Jenner clearly didn’t get the memo about not upstaging the bride, because she attended her friend Lauren Perez’s wedding in Miami Beach on Thursday, November 11th in the most provocative number we think we’ve ever seen her wear! We would love to know what the bride said when she saw Kendall’s slashed dress – if you can even call it that!
The 26-year-old former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star left very little to the imagination, choosing to wear a skin-tight black Mônot dress that featured triangular cut-outs all the way down to her navel. Kendall’s look screamed clubbing attire rather than sophisticated wedding guest to us; especially when compared with the ultra-glamorous – and still extremely sexy – plunging gold Magda Butrym dress her BFF Hailey Bieber wore, who also appeared next to her in the bathroom mirror selfie she shared from the wedding.
For what it's worth, we must point out that Kendall only wore the provocative number for the second part of the wedding, as she was the ever-dutiful bridesmaid during the ceremony in a chic blue strapless midi bridesmaid dress. Having said that, most of the internet had many thoughts about Kendall's slashed black number. And as you can imagine, they were less than approving, as most social media users deemed the dress extremely inappropriate for a close friend's wedding.
"I’d rather you turn up to my wedding in a wedding dress than this," read one Twitter comment. "Imagine Kendall Jenner wearing this to your wedding," another Twitter user wrote, alongside three crying face emojis. "There are other ways to show up the bride other than wearing white at her wedding reception," noted another. However, many other fans couldn’t help but obsess over Kendall's dress – regardless of the occasion she wore it to – with someone writing: "GIRL! I WANT THIS DRESS!!" followed by a heart eyes emoji. Another Twitter user simply gushed about the 818 Tequila founder's face and body (like we so often do!) claiming: "Her body is bangin'. Outta the 5 sisters, she is the hottest, prettiest of them all." Thoughts?
