KFC adds Chizza to menu
Take some chicken, add pizza, and you've got yourself a Chizza—pronounced cheet-za, if you were curious. This wacky invention is just another concoction from the great minds at KFC.
So what is it, exactly? The Chizz includes two of the KFC fried chicken fillets we know and love (made with 100% white meat, of course) and tops them with zesty marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni.
Believe it or not, this isn't the first time the world has gotten a taste of Chizza. The invention first hit menus back in 2015—but only in the Philippines. Since then, KFC lovers in Germany, India, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, and Spain have gotten to try it. But this month is the first time we've been able to order it in the United States.
Consumers in New York City were able to give the inventive new item a try in a pop-up; one KFC location transformed into a "Chizzeria" for two days. But now, you can find it at all locations!
We're not surprised that this item is already getting rave reviews from customers. As one user on X, the website formerly known as Twitter praised: "10/10. Will eat again. It tastes exactly how you think it tastes. Delicious." We're convinced.
What do you think? Are you running to the nearest KFC, or are you heading to Wendy's for their new breakfast item instead? Let us know in the comments!
