Khloé Kardashian Just Dropped This MAJOR Bombshell About Her COVID Battle—We’re Devastated For Her!
October 7, 2021 by Maria Pierides
Khloé Kardashian just opened up about her terrifying COVID-19 battle – and revealed that hair loss was one of the scary side effects she experienced after contracting the virus back in March last year. Other famous faces such as Drake and Alyssa Milano previously opened up about dealing with temporary hair loss after catching COVID in the past, so Khloé definitely isn’t alone.
The 37-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s battle with the respiratory illness was actually documented on the final season of the reality TV show, and her symptoms seemed to include a bad headache, a cough that caused a burning sensation in her chest, as well as “vomiting, and shaking, and hot and then cold.” However, this is the first time she has really given specific information about her experience with hair loss…
As part of a Twitter Space chat last week, the mom-of-one went into more detail about the scary – but thankfully temporary – side effect, which, according to a study from the Indiana University School of Medicine, can affect roughly 33% of people who test positive for the virus. We had no idea it was THAT common! “My hair really fell out with COVID,” Kardashian shared during the chat. “So after, it was really a struggle for a minute,” she continued, before revealing what she has been doing since then to try and nourish her locks and get them back to looking their shiniest, thickest, and healthiest.
