In the new shoot for Good American, Khloe can be seen rocking a basic nude bra top with matching pumps and a pair of dark wash jeans. Fans were more focused, however, on Kardashian’s fingers, which appeared to be “freakishly long,” particularly with her claw-like nails.
Kardashian soon took to Twitter to explain that the photos were the result of a fisheye lens, rather than an editing fail. She wrote, “HA I’m cracking up! 4a few of those GA photos, we shot on a camera lens that creates a stretching effect. The closer the object is to camera they will get elongated. So in some of my photos my feet/fingers look incredibly long. Not to worry! I still have normal size hands/fingers.”
The reality star doubled down on Twitter, later writing, “I can’t believe I’m even tweeting this LOL my old hands normal sized hands are still in tack. Nope I didn’t get a surgery to stretch my fingers and nope it’s not a “photoshop fail”. Have a great day.” It’s not often that Kardashian responds to claims of photo editing, but the brand owner seemed amused this time around.
While it’s likely not the last time Khloe will be called out for editing her photos this year, it is a first that the claims are unfounded and merely a stylistic choice. All the media attention was certainly great for her newest Good American launch--there’s already a waitlist!
