The Kardashians have said and done quite a few controversial and hypocritical things over the years – and something Khloé Kardashian, who has always been regarded as the most opinionated and take no-nonsense sister, said many, many years ago may have come back to haunt her!
A clip from season three episode 12 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians resurfaced on Reddit recently – and believe it or not, Kourtney and Khloé’s extremely different appearances weren’t the biggest talking point of the clip! Reddit users were taken aback by a comment the 38-year-old Good American founder made on the show, as they suggested that it made her somewhat of a hypocrite.

In a conversation between Kourtney Kardashian, now 44, and Khloé about Kourtney catching her then boyfriend Scott Disick with another girl, Kourtney calls Khloé a man hater, to which Khloé replies: “No I’m not, I just don’t let people [expletive] me over, and when you cheat on me, you’re gone.”
“You’re not going to do it again and again and again,” Khloé continues in the clip, adding, “I’m sorry, that’s not normal, that’s not respect, that’s not what boyfriends do to their girlfriends.” As Khloé has forgiven cheating ex Tristan Thompson on countless occasions, Reddit users immediately flocked to the comments section to call out the hypocrisy. Many users did, of course, comment on Khloé’s hypocritical remarks, but others were a little more forgiving, and pointed out that she was in her early twenties when this conversation took place. They also commented on the fact that it was before she met Lamar Odom, who she married in September 2009 and finally divorced in December 2016.

Other fans actually came to the mom-of-two's defense, with one writing: "People change. Not everyone gets stronger. I think the situation with Lamar caused Khloé to lose this strengthened side of herself." Another fan echoed this, writing: "I hate it when people use this clip to 'prove' she is a hypocrite (not saying that's what the OP was doing, have just seen that a lot) She was in her early 20's here. I said all kinds of things that I'd never put up with at that age and, unfortunately, I ate a lot of those words. Life happens, kids are involved, and we get involved with toxic abusers who desensitize us and train us to accept behavior with an endless cycle of love-bombing and devaluation."
Another fan said: "People keep posting this clip as a dig, but she was like 23 and this was all before Lamar put her through the wringer. People ask how and why Khloé puts up with Tristan [expletive] and it’s because she was already broken when she met him after dealing with Lamar. Khloé was very sure of herself before that marriage…" Another fan noted: "People also get so caught up in Khloé being a hypocrite in this scene that they gloss over the fact that she was offering Kourtney solid advice, which Kourtney didn’t take. Kourtney also allowed the father of her children to treat her like [expletive] for a decade (always under the guise of doing what was best for her kids, just like Khloé) and she doesn’t get nearly as much flack for it."
