While the Kardashian sisters have historically been adamant about denying having plastic surgery done, fans are praising Khloe Kardashian, 37, for being open about undergoing rhinoplasty in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts.

The Good American founder talked about her decision to get a nose job in the spring of 2018 and said her only regret was that she did it earlier. “My whole life I would say—I’ve always wanted my nose done, forever,” Kardashian told Roberts in an ABC special on her family. “But it’s in the middle of your face and it’s scary to think about. But I finally got the courage, and I did it, and I love it.”

After this aired, Kardashian responded to a fan’s tweet that said, “Khloé got a nose job, omg.” She wrote back, “Yes! I spoke about it at the [June 2021 Keeping Up with the Kardashians] reunion with Andy Cohen as well,” the reality star added. “I got it a couple weeks before True’s first birthday. Love it!” (Kardashian welcomed her daughter, True Thompson, in April 2018 with then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, 31.)

As more fans began writing to Kardashian thanking her for being “open” and “honest” about her nose job, others began detaining their experiences as well. When one wrote that they had the “worst recovery ever!” after their nose job, Kardashian replied that hers was different. “Stop!!! Mine was a breeze,” she said. “That’s crazy. It honestly was so easy for me. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.”

And just recently, Kardashian once again got candid about her rhinoplasty. Based on an image obtained by The Daily Mail, plastic surgeon Dr. Kanodia posted a birthday greeting for Khloe as she turned 38 this year. His caption wrote, “Happy birthday @khloekardashian. Wishing you another hundred years of happiness, health, and success.” Kardashian then reposted this on her Instagram story with the message, “Thank you for my perfect [nose emoji].”

In a Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast episode with Amanda Hirsch, the Hulu star opened up about how she feels when the public criticizes her for her looks. She admits, “It didn’t bother me like it offended me. I just couldn’t figure out why people thought that. I’ve had one nose job—that I love.” Kardashian shares, “I love it. I would not care to lie about it. ”
