Khloé Kardashian‘s incredibly trim, toned, and sculpted physique, which is partly the result of an epic 80-lb weight loss, is no coincidence, and is something she has worked on for many, many years.

The 40-year-old Good American founder notoriously works very hard in the gym to get her incredible figure, while also making sure she has the best diet to fuel and complement her workouts thanks to an army of Kardashian-approved chefs. She has documented her workouts on social media and also spoken about them on The Kardashians and in interviews over the years, and it seems like there is no shortage of heart-pumping, grueling exercises in her varied routine. Let’s take a look at just a few of the things she has credited for her amazing body…

Khloé Kardashian Does Less Cardio And More Strength Training

Khloé (and many other A-listers and their trainers) has maintained that strength training is always more effective for weight loss and fitness than straight cardio. "It's your ticket to a tight and toned body and a more efficient way to burn calories and lose body fat," the Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum previously told Shape.

The mom-of-two's trainer Gunnar Peterson, who has also worked with older sister Kim Kardashian, as well as Jennifer Lopez and Kate Beckinsale, among others, previously broke down a few of the exercises she swears by to maintain her toned physique. And we are listening intently!

What Are Some Of The Strength Exercises Khloé Kardashian Does To Maintain Her Toned Physique?

While Khloé doesn't escape cardio, she seems to do it as a warmup before moving onto more dynamic exercises such as pulsing weighted squats and side lunges with a 10-pound dumbbell.

Khloé reportedly credits her flat and toned tummy with balance exercises on a Bosu Ball, whereby she has to keep her balance on the ball by engaging her core. This sounds like a great exercise that burns belly fat that you can do at home; but if you don't have a Bosu Ball, Peterson recommends standing on top of a rolled-up rug or a pair of towels as the next best thing. We'll try anything if it means we are one step closer to having a flat and toned belly like Khloé!
