Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently returned from a family vacation to the Dominican Republic with their four children. However, when they returned to the states, the couple went their separate ways again with Kanye staying in Wyoming and Kim returning to Los Angeles with the kids.
At the time, a source told People, that Kim “is happy to be back” in California with her kids since “it’s hard traveling with the kids for such a long time.” Meanwhile, the source explained, Wyoming “is where [Kanye] wants to live.”
However it seems that things have changed since then. Keep reading for more details.
An insider told People that West has since reunited with his wife and kids, North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1.
The source explained, "He is still busy working on his music and presidential campaign, but really missed the kids and flew to see them."
While West was there, the family spent time together at their Hidden Hills house.
Whether this means that Kanye will be returning to LA for the long run is still unclear. In late July, a source told Page Six that Wyoming was now West's "main base."
The source explained, “Kanye’s in Wyoming, that’s his main base. But they’re not like other couples, obviously, they have multiple houses and private planes, so it’s not like they’re not able to see each other."
Even though they have the ability to travel to see each other, their children are still affected by the distance.
The source continued, "Kim is completely focused on her family and protecting her kids right now, they’re so young."
"She’s doing well, she doesn’t want this to impact on the kids, so it’s business as normal with them. Her sisters have been helping out and the kids have been with their cousins. They don’t want the kids to feel that anything is wrong, but of course, they want their father," the insider told Page Six.
