Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had a visibly awkward encounter at their 8-year-old son Saint‘s basketball game in Los Angeles last week.
Despite arriving separately, the reality star, 43, and Grammy winner, 46, conversed for a quick moment when inside the sports building. However, the former married couple did not sit together when watching their child play with his team.
This run-in happened as West is still sparking controversy online for his alleged treatment of his new wife, Bianca Censori.

Even though the Donda rapper has been reportedly married to his new spouse for over a year, insiders report that he remains "obsessed" with Kardashian, and is trying to mold Censori, 29, into a likeness of his former partner.
On X (formerly Twitter), many users continue to slam the "Runaway" rapper and accuse him of "humiliating" Censori and exhibiting "sick" and "controlling" behavior whenever they step out in public together.
Kardashian stepped out for the athletic event in a chic, long brown leather, fur-lined coat with a black zip-up hoodie and cozy sweatpants underneath. The SKIMS mogul completed her look with oversized black shades and wore her long raven tresses down, parted in the center and styled into loose waves.
In all-black attire, West donned a T-shirt layered over a long-sleeved shirt. The Yeezy designer paired these pieces with parachute pants and combat boots.
One week prior to this January 27th game, the Kardashians star and "Heartless" hitmaker had a cordial reunion at another one. That basketball game that Saint's team played marked Kardashian and West's first joint public appearance during their headline-making co-parenting struggles.
Their 6-year-old daughter Chicago stood between them as they said hello to each other. The SKKN founder and musician are also parents to two other children; 10-year-old daughter North, 10, and 4-year-old son, Psalm.
In February of 2021, Kardashian initiated divorce proceedings against West, which were ultimately finalized in November of the following year. As part of the divorce settlement, the "Love Lockdown" artist was required to provide $200,000 per month in child support payments to his ex-spouse.
In recent times, West has expressed dissatisfaction with their co-parenting arrangements both in his music and through various social media channels.
In the past month, West has also faced controversy for his alleged "controlling" behavior when it comes to his new wife, Censori. In a new X thread shared in early January, many users began reacting to a video of West and Censori walking hand-in-hand in a store. Censori went barefoot and donned a very revealing bra top and low-waisted skirt while the "Flashing Lights" rapper wore a black cropped sweater and gray trousers. Many fans began to express concern for Censori and criticize West's "strange" behavior in the clip.
"I guess he's showing off what she has... Kinda weird," one tweeted as another added: "Didn’t he get mad at Kim for dressing immodestly?" Others in a separate thread also noted how much Censori "looked like" Kardashian, whether this was West's goal or just a coincidence. "Isn't #BiancaCensori a little sad with becoming #KimKardashian's twin or was that her plan in the first place?" one wrote.
Someone else added: "I'm confused by Kanye West. Didn't he tell Kim Kardashian that he didn't like her exposing her body and she needed to dress more conservative?" The user went on: "Now his new wife is butt naked at all times. Kanye doesn't care about conservative anything. He is a controlling nutcase."
According to a source who allegedly sat down with OK! Magazine, "Kanye clearly set out to clone Kim, which disgusts her, but the truth is, it also fascinates her in a morbid way." The insider went on: "It's just so creepy." In a recent report from the outlet , an insider dished to the mag that "even though [Kardashian would] never want [West] back, this is still messing with her head."
The source also claimed to be close to Kardashian. "It’s like he’s turned Bianca into his personal robot," they added, "with the added indignity that she’s paraded around half-naked all the time."
