Kim Kardashian made an appearance at the Balenciaga Fall 2024 show in Los Angeles where the fashion house unveiled its latest collection.

As an ambassador of Balenciaga, the reality star, 43, turned heads with a bold and sultry ensemble featuring the brand’s nude-colored Panta leggings, a nude high-neck top, and a black Balenciaga logo jacket layered with black lace that accentuated her curves.

The SKIMS mogul added oversized black shades for extra glam. Although some fans praised her outfit, others criticized her for supporting the brand amidst scandals and controversies, including accusations of child exploitation in the brand’s spring 2023 advertising campaign.

Kim Kardashian Sparks Criticism After Supporting The Unveiling Of Balenciaga's Latest Collection

In response, Kardashian issued a statement stating that she would reevaluate her relationship with the brand. Despite this, she has continued to wear pieces from the brand this year.

Last month, she donned a fitted black turtleneck lace gown with a beige Pantabodysuit underneath by Balenciaga for the star-studded Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood.

As many might recall, in November 2022, the label was embroiled in a scandal due to the release of Balenciaga's spring 2023 advertising campaign, which faced allegations of exploiting children.

The campaign featured several ads that depicted children posing alongside teddy bears adorned in bondage gear, and other imagery that incorporated books and court documents. These ads provoked widespread speculation and theories on the internet.

After seeing Kardashian's latest Balenciaga-designed get-ups, one user tweeted that the mother of four's support of the label was "truly disturbing" in light of this.

Another added: "So we just going to forget about @Balenciaga controversy that easily."

Someone else chimed in, writing: "Balenciaga had young children posing with sexual bondage themed stuffed animals for an ad campaign. Stars like Kim Kardashian and Cardi B supporting them is problematic."

On November 26th, the Kardashians star uploaded a photo collection post for her 364 million followers showcasing her Baby2Baby Gala gown designed by Balenciaga.

"Why is she still supporting this brand," one user commented as another added: "With 4 kids I also don’t understand."

During Paris Fashion Week in October, Kardashian modeled the latest summer 2024 collection for the luxury label, which had previously stirred up controversy with its kid-centered ad campaign.

She sported a black figure-hugging dress with a latex leather finish that gave the appearance of being dipped in water. It also featured a corseted bodice and striking asymmetrical hemline.

Her partnership with Balenciaga came less than a year after the scandal. Last November, the brand wrote in a statement: "We sincerely apologize for any offense our holiday campaign may have caused."

They went on: "Our plush bear bags should not have been featured with children in this campaign. We have immediately removed the campaign from all platforms."
