Kim Kardashian has been serving iconic fashion moments for years, but lately, the queen of tiny bikinis and daring looks has been taking things up a notch. The 40-year-old star is no stranger to showing off a lot of skin—whether it’s in body-skimming outfits, SKIMS, or a tiny swimsuit. So when we saw the skintight bodysuit she wore to host Saturday Night Live, we couldn’t get over how incredible she looked!
Despite her naysayers, Kim Kardashian slayed her hosting duties on SNL, if you ask us. And, actually, not just if you ask us. The mom and mogul had 5.3 million viewers tuning in to watch her on October 9th after a record-low premiere the week before with host Owen Wilson. Kim opened the show with a monologue filled with major roasts—including calling mom Kris Jenner’s beau a gold digger and dissing Kanye’s personality. But she did it all in the spirit of the show, and while looking as incredible as ever in a hot pink bodysuit!
Kim started the show with a bang, wearing a pink velvet bodysuit with gloves and matchings heels—all by Balenciaga. Kim had been gravitating to more neutral colors lately, but we LOVE this iconic hot pink head-to-toe moment. And it seems her fans were just as in awe—searches for “velvet catsuits” increased by 117% after Kim’s appearance on the show, according to Lyst. After seeing Kim’s incredible curves in that skintight bodysuit, we wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes an even bigger fall trend. Celebs like Jennifer Lopez and Kim’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, have also been loving the bodysuit and catsuit trend.
Among many memorable segments (including a Jasmine and Aladdin kiss with Pete Davidson), Kim even poked fun at her SKIMS line in a skit that involved shapewear for…dogs. While the dog shapewear line is most definitely fictitious, Kim’s real SKIMS line has only been getting bigger. The 40-year-old beauty recently posed in a pair of SKIMS biker shorts that featured the very low-cut ‘V’ waistband. And who could forget Kourtney Kardashian and Megan Fox’s double-trouble campaign that nearly broke the internet?
