Kim Kardashian reportedly still wants to get one over on her estranged ex-husband Kanye West, following last month’s allegations from former Yeezy employees who claimed he showed them explicit images of her against their will. And according to reports, the way she intends to do this is by *considering* dating Drake – who Ye has long considered a “threat” – now that her high-profile romance with 29-year-old former Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson has ended.
Kim Kardashian Is Reportedly 'Excited' To Date Drake
You'd think the 36-year-old "Rich Flex" rapper – real name Aubrey Graham – would jump at the chance to date the 42-year-old Skims founder, as an insider told Heat Magazine that he always found her attractive, but he was reportedly a little apprehensive at first, as he is almost "frightened" of the 45-year-old "Praise God" rapper. Wow!
"Drake finds Kim hot and likes the idea of hooking up and seeing where it takes them. But the idea of an all-out war with Kanye put him off at first," the insider told Heat, adding: "There’s already a ton of bad blood as Drake and Kim have flirted with each other in the past."
"To be honest Drake’s a little frightened of Ye," they continued, before going on to say that he is now "willing to bite the bullet and see where things go with Kim." "They’re arranging to meet at an exclusive spot in LA – it’s all on the downlow for now, but Kim’s excited. She figures a high-profile romance is what she needs – it’ll be a huge win if she and Drake become a thing."
Drake Doesn't Understand What Kim Saw In Kanye
The source also went on to say that the Canadian rapper has always been confused about Kim and Ye's relationship, and made it clear on several occasions that he didn’t know what she saw in the Yeezy designer. "He found it kind of a travesty that she was trapped inside his prison of dysfunction," the source said. "Drake was very open in telling people that Ye was batting way out of his league," the source continued, adding that, "Kanye hated his guts and found him a threat. He had it in his head that Drake was after Kim, and suspected something had gone on between them before and even during their marriage."
Previous Kim Kardashian And Drake Dating Rumors
Perhaps part of the "Eazy" rapper's dislike for the "Hotline Bling" rapper is down to him truly believing that something had gone on with him and the Kardashians star in the past – which Drake has alluded to on several tracks over the years!
In the song "Knife Talk" taken from his 2021 album Certified Lover Boy, Drake hints at dating and even sleeping with the mom-of-four before she officially filed for divorce from Kanye, which understandably sent the internet into a frenzy at the time. The lyrics in question are, "I hit up err and tell him do the err, for sure. Voodoo curse, it got him while I flew to Turks. Know the dogs had to hit them where we knew it hurts," in reference to the time Kim was in Turks and Caicos and immediately left after ex Kanye had arrived there.

"Drake hints at sleeping with Kim Kardashian on Knife Talk," one fan wrote on Twitter at the time. "I knew it," another fan wrote, followed by a laughing emoji. He also referenced it in the song "Wants and Needs" which includes the lyrics: "Yeah, I probably should go link with Yeezy, I need me some Jesus. But soon as I started confessin’ my sins, he wouldn’t believe us."

And back in July 2018, he rapped about seeing a woman named 'Kiki' in his song "In My Feelings," which anyone who watches Keeping Up with the Kardashians and The Kardashians will know is Kim's nickname used by her family. Just one month later, Drake was featured on Travis Scott’s "Sicko Mode" which featured some lyrics that many fans thought was about him going to Kim’s house while Kanye was away. "I crept down the block, Made a right, Cut the lights, Paid the price," he rapped. However, Kim shut down the allegations at the time, writing: "Never happened. End of story."
