It’s rare to see Kim Kardashian in a girly pink dress, as she usually sticks to her signature skintight bodysuits and waist-cinching corset gowns. But for SNL50, she switched things up, embracing a playful, feminine look that gave off a completely different vibe!

Although she hit the red carpet in a body-hugging silver dress, she switched into a lavender midi dress for her skit, featuring sheer puff sleeves, a tulle skirt, and a sweetheart bodice with a chic collar.

She swapped her signature long, dark locks for a vintage-inspired Old Hollywood blonde bob. Matching ankle-strap heels completed her ’80s-inspired look.

For the 50th anniversary special of the show, she appeared in the first sketch of the evening, "The Lawrence Welk Show," alongside Fred Armisen as Lawrence Welk, Will Ferrell as Robert Goulet, Scarlett Johansson, and Ana Gasteyer. The Skims mogul played one of the Maharelle sisters.

Although the mother of four often faces intense scrutiny and criticism, viewers on TikTok were genuinely impressed by her transformation for the role:

"I never thought I’d see Dooneese and Kim Kardashian together."

"Kim has just been serving lately."

"My God…I love Kim...she is basically almost everywhere trying things out."

"Off topic, but the dresses are so pretty."

"Kim looks so beautiful and cute in that outfit."

Kim Kardashian Reflects on Her SNL Hosting Gig from 3 Years Ago

During the special pre-show, the reality star teased, “I'm doing a really funny sketch—this is live, right, so I probably shouldn't say who. [It’s] with people that I have laughed and laughed [with] that I'm obsessed with.”

She further reflected on hosting SNL three years ago and called it a “wild experience,” adding, “I'm so happy I did it. I wasn't actually as nervous as most people say!”
