Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might be getting back together. At least, that’s what Kimye fans are speculating, as the former married couple were spotted having dinner together at Nobu in Malibu on Thursday night – and they certainly weren’t behaving like exes if you know what we mean! To be perfectly honest, we have no idea what is going on with these two, but we couldn’t be more intrigued!
Kim and Kanye were pictured dining together on Thursday, October 7th, just a few days before the 40-year-old reality TV star roasted her entire family – including her estranged husband – on Saturday Night Live at the weekend. (Side note: can we just appreciate how hilarious Kim’s debut SNL hosting gig was on Saturday, October 9th? We think the mom-of-four is definitely going to be asked to host the show again in the future; you mark our words!) We don’t know how intimate their Nobu dinner actually was, as they were also joined by Tracy Romulus – Kim’s longtime friend who is now also the Chief Marketing Officer of her underwear, shapewear, and loungewear brand, SKIMS – and her husband Ray Romulus.

Fans have speculated that Kimye were having a business meeting, of sorts, at the restaurant, as the 44-year-old rapper and designer was said to be helping the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star with her aforementioned SNL job. Rumor has it that he even picked out most if not all of her outfits, which included a hot pink crushed velvet Balenciaga turtleneck jumpsuit, complete with matching gloves, a similar Balenciaga jumpsuit in black, and a metallic sequined turtleneck top teamed with black pantashoes, also by Balenciaga. Basically, a lot of Balenciaga – although she did also wear a sequined minidress by Dolce and Gabbana that was absolutely breathtaking!
But wait – there’s more! Nobu wasn’t the only place the couple were spotted recently, as they were also pictured leaving their NYC hotel together right before Kim’s SNL debut, in case that means anything to anyone. Was it all just professional? Was he just helping her with the SNL gig in the same way she helped him with his Donda album promo by turning up to the listening party in a wedding dress? We have so, so many questions – and a few sources have some answers!
An insider told US Weekly on Friday, October 8th that "they have a more of a friendship and working relationship as they coparent," in reference to their four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. "They’re not back together," the insider added, before confirming that, despite their separation, Kim "will be involved with Kanye’s work ventures and he will be involved with hers."
Hmm… we don't know what to believe at the moment! Kim filed for divorce back in February this year, citing "irreconcilable differences" after seven years of marriage, but they seem to be spending more and more time together now they have called it quits. What will the future hold for Kimye? Your guess is as good as ours!
