It seems things are still tense between Kim Kardashian and her sister Kourtney Kardashian-Barker, if the new trailer for the family’s reality show is any indication.
A new trailer for season 4 of The Kardashians on Hulu just dropped, and it appears the Kim-Kourtney feuding storyline that was the subject of much of season 3 is still going strong, with one intense moment showing an incendiary phone call between the two sisters where Kim asks Kourtney “Are you happy?” and Kourtney tearfully responding in the same conversation, “You’re just a witch…and I hate you.”
Kim And Kourtney Kardashian In Long-Running Sister Feud
The long-running feud between sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian really kicked off around the time of Kourtney’s Italy wedding to Travis Barker in May of 2022. The wedding was hosted by Dolce & Gabbana, which 4 months after the festivities also launched a collection with Kim called “Ciao Kim.” In the collection, several 90s-inspired outfits were featured — and Kourtney found this to be a little too close to him, since her wedding had also been 90s-inspired, with the fashion house opening their 90s archive to her and her guests for the celebration.
Kourtney said that she didn’t appreciate Kim featuring styles so similar to the vibe of her wedding in her D&G collection, accusing the Skims CEO of using her wedding to Travis as a “business opportunity” and telling Kim she “didn’t feel truly supported” by her at the event. Though some found the roots of the feud silly — “I think the whole reason Kourtney is upset with Kim is real stupid,” said one Kardashians fan recently on social media — it was enough to begin a fight that seemingly is still going strong between the two sisters.
Kardashians Season 4 Trailer Appears To Show More Fighting Between The Sisters
The new trailer for The Kardashians season 4 opens with Kim and Kourtney awkwardly sitting next to each other for a rare dual confessional to the cameras, with a producer asking the pair from off camera, "Do you think people are gonna be surprised to see the two of you together?" The sisters respond by, well, not really responding, with both averting their eyes and being awkwardly quiet.
Kourtney disclosed to the camera that "Last season was really hard" with the focus on the feud, especially considering that she was subject to a lot of criticism online from fans who shared their own opinions on who was in the right or in the wrong. "It's really hard to watch people talking about you," the eldest Kardashian said. "I don't feel understood."
Things got even more tense in the trailer in clips of an extensive phone call between Kim and Kourtney, during which the sisters fought, cried, and berated each other. "Are you happy?" Kim is seen asking her older sister. "You're a different person, you hate us, we all talk about it..." Kourtney seems to respond later in the phone fight, "You're just a witch...and I hate you."
Fans on social media have responded in droves to the contents of the reality show's newest trailer. . "Always seemed like kourtney was just jealous of kim especially after kim’s big show in milan," said one Twitter/X user. Another said of the trailer, "Kim is so over it… She’s tried to make things right. She agrees to sit down and have conversation after conversation with kourtney. Kourtney just doesn’t seem to want to resolve anything but to tell Kim she’s a witch and that she needs to change."
