Kim Kardashian Talks About North's Career
In the episode, Kim confessed to Kris and Khloé that she wasn't quite ready to be North's "momager," a task Kris has taken on for her five daughters. "I thought I was busy before! North—me having to be her momager right now is crazy. It was not on my bingo card for this year."
"And I'm not ready," she continued. "If she has a shoot, it's like, I have to be there all day, so it's like her or me."
Then, in a private confessional, Kim elaborated that it's not just balancing her own career with North's that stressing her out, but also balancing North's professional and personal life. "I'm really conflicted on my daughter's career," she said. "I just really want to make sure that everything's really well balanced—all of the work experiences are balanced out with just enough fun life experiences."

Fans Slam Kim For 'Grooming' North
A clip of this scene was posted on Instagram, and in the comment section, most fans were turned off by Kim placing so much emphasis on an eleven-year-old's career. "She's grooming North just like her mom groomed her into this 'fame,'" one person wrote. "So sad she's using her daughter. It's not written anywhere that she needs to be doing any of this. Let her be a child."
"What career?" another person asked. "At that age?"
"How does a 10 year old have a career?" another asked. "What exactly does she do? She doesn't act, sing, dance. How about you just let her be a kid?"
"Maybe she should just be a kid and doesn't need a career as a teenager," another suggested.
"She is a child let her be a kid!" a final fan said.
