‘Thongkinis’ Are The Sexy Summer Swimsuit Trend Taking Over Hollywood—Kim Kardashian’s Is Unreal!

Yet another nineties trend is making a comeback – but we don’t think everyone will be willing to accept the thongkini trend with quite the same level of enthusiasm as they have the slip dresses or hair scrunchies trend. The high-cut swimwear piece is *not* for the faint hearted!

The thongkini (otherwise known as a thong bikini) featured heavily on the catwalk back in the 90s – Helena Christensen modelling the thongkini in Chanel’s Spring 1995 show instantly comes to mind – but Kim Kardashian has proven that it’s back! And as with most things the Kardashians wear, it might be here to stay!

In a seven-image carousel which was shared to the 41-year-old newly-single SKIMS founder’s Instagram on August 14th, she can be seen posing in a gym in a nude colored thongkini and over the knee camouflage heeled boots that understandably not only sent her fans wild, but almost broke the internet!

Kim captioned her post, “I do my own heavy lifting,” followed by the tongue out emoji, and tagged @indiana420bitch as the photographer. “Goodnessssss,” one fan wrote, followed by the fire emoji, which as you can imagine, featured very frequently in the comments section for obvious reasons. “Wowww,” added another fan, followed by the heart eyes emoji, while another deemed that Kim’s ex, Pete Davidson, would be kicking himself when he saw the steamy pictures, writing, “Revenge pictures.”
