It might seem like Kim Kardashian is living her best life with new boyfriend Pete Davidson these days, but deep down, the 41-year-old KKW Beauty founder is actually feeling very “overwhelmed and upset” following Kanye West’s recent behavior – especially the comments he made about her parenting style. Poor Kim!
The comments in relation to the SKIMS founder’s parenting were made in the 44-year-old rapper’s latest song, “My Life Was Never Eazy,” which was released on Friday, January 14th. As well as rapping about beating up Kim’s new boyfriend, the song also takes aim at the way Kim is looking after their four children – North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2 – suggesting that she doesn’t actually spend much time with the children, who instead, according to the song, are left with nannies and members of the TV crew. Yikes!
Ye raps: "I got love for the nannies, but real family is better / The cameras watch the kids, y’all stop taking the credit." He continues: "When you give ‘em everything they only want more / Bougie and unruly, ya’ll need to do some chores / Rich-[expletive] kids, this ain’t yo’ mamma’s house / climb on your brother’s shoulders, get that Top Ramen out."
Naturally, Kim hasn’t reacted well to the connotations in the song, as sources have confirmed that she is extremely "upset" with her estranged ex's antics. "Kim has been overwhelmed and upset by Kanye's recent interviews and antics," an insider spilled to Entertainment Tonight, in reference to the Yeezy designer airing their dirty laundry in public following the drama surrounding their daughter Chicago's disastrous and highly-talked-about fourth birthday party.
The source went on to add that the four children she shares with the "Praise God" rapper have always been and always will be her top priority, saying: "Kim's main priority has always been their children," the source continued. "Her goal has always been to have a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kanye, where both of them are involved."
And as far as co-parenting is concerned, the former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is reportedly doing the best she can to involve the "Flashing Lights" rapper in their children's lives, as she is keen to replicate the relationship she had with her own father, Robert Kardashian, after he split from her mom Kris Jenner. "Kim had an incredible relationship with her dad, even after her parents got divorced, and she wants that for her kids too," said the source. "Kim has just been trying to put a structured plan in place so that her children can feel safe, secure, protected, and loved by the both of them."
