Kim Kardashian has come under fire for one of her latest Instagram posts, with fans deeming it “extremely insensitive” following the news of Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis.
On March 16th, the 43-year-old Skims founder shared a series of pictures with her 364M Instagram followers, the first one of which showed her posing next to a car. The caption played into the “where’s Kate?” controversy, as she captioned her post: “On my way to go find Kate.”
Kim Kardashian's Fans Demand She Apologizes To The Princess of Wales Following Cancer Revelation
The Princess of Wales has been at the center of controversy since her abdominal surgery in mid-January was revealed, with the world showing concern for her whereabouts and wellbeing ever since. On Friday, March 22nd, the 42-year-old mom-of-three shared a video with the world to reveal that she was diagnosed with cancer – something which was reportedly discovered after the surgery – and was in the early stages of chemotherapy.
While the Kardashians star did come under fire for posting about the Princess of Wales before her cancer diagnosis confirmation, the backlash has understandably gotten even more intense since Friday's announcement, with fans begging her to take the post down. Or at the very least, change the caption. (At the time of writing, the caption still remains, as does the post.)

"I think an apology is needed!" exclaimed one fan, which many others echoed. "Can you please go find an apology instead?" asked one fan. "You owe our Princess an apology," noted another.
"After the news of her having cancer has been revealed, you should really take this down. It's extremely insensitive and you owe our princess an apology," concurred another. "Well I guess you found her in the chemo ward Kim. Your caption is distasteful," slammed another, as someone else said: "Pathetic insensitive post. My heart goes out to Kate Middleton. On another note I mean is Kim K still relevant? Just asking…"
"You should probably take this down now," suggested another fan. "She's a member of the Royal Family for God's sake. Not some fame hungry wannabe. Have some respect!" commented another, as another said: "I hope you publicly apologize to the Princess of Wales." And speaking of public apology…
Blake Lively Apologizes For Mocking Kate Middleton's Mother's Day Post
Prior to the Princess of Wales revealing her cancer diagnosis to the world, Blake Lively seemed to mock the Mother's Day photo scandal by posting some since-deleted badly edited pictures of her promoting certain drinks with the caption: "Now you know why I've been missing in action." And she has now issued a public apology for the posts, telling followers that she is "mortified" since learning about the Princess of Wales' cancer diagnosis.
"I'm sure no one cares today but I feel like I have to acknowledge this. I made a silly post around the 'Photoshop fails' frenzy, and oh man, that post has me mortified today," her post read. "I'm sorry. Sending love and well wishes to all, always," she added.
