Jay Shetty's May 22nd episode of On Purpose featured Kim Kardashian talking candidly about how she's had a difficult time adjusting to being a single parent, as her divorce from rapper Kanye West was finalized just under a year ago in November of 2022. "It's a really hard task when you have four kids and they all want to be put to bed at the same time." Kim said. "I think it's just those nights when you can't divide yourself."
But this didn't sit right with fans, as it is no secret that Kim has a team of nannies and chefs to help her balance parenting with her career. "She is not an honest representation of what it is like to be a parent," one fan commented on the podcast host's Instagram. "We don't have endless resources of help. We don't have endless dollars for self care to help manage the emotional/physical roller coaster of parenthood."
"Your nanny takes care of things hour by hour," another commented on Kim's Instagram post promoting the podcast. "Hush up!" they added. Yet another comment read, "She speaks as if she's had such a hard life…"

But the Skims founder held her ground, saying in an interview on The Kardashians, "Obviously having nannies and a chef to help cook is beyond helpful," she says. "But, at the end of the day, your kids only want you."
The star continued, saying, "the one thing that everyone has in common is just the amount of time we have. I'm raising four kids and I split my time between my work, my family, my four kids, and I want to make sure that my kids have 90% of that."
Kim shows viewers her commitment to her kids in the recently released episode 5 of The Kardashians, with clips of her taking her son Saint, 7, and his soccer buddies all around Europe visiting different professional soccer pitches. Kim confesses that there’s nothing that she loves more than spending time with her kids: "It's just such an amazing experience, this is like a dream come true," she says.
