Kim Kardashian is always on the go! Juggling acting gigs, reality show filming, fashion week adventures, and managing her various businesses, the multitasking SKIMS founder wears every hat imaginable (while being a mom, too). Recently, she decided to make a splash by causing a virtual traffic jam on the SKIMS website with the launch of her Valentine’s Day collection.
The star of KUWTK gave us a sneak peek at the collection through her Instagram stories. One set featured a sheer pink bra and pants adorned with adorable tiny velvet hearts. In another video, she showcased a lacy shorts set in a cute combination of baby pink and hot pink, striking poses in front of a mirror for the clips.
Kim Kardashian Rocks SKIMS Valentine's Day Collection
Shortly after the launch, there were so many excited buyers that the SKIMS site decided to take an unexpected break, causing a crash and putting a temporary pause on purchases.
SKIMS and the mom of four were lightning-quick to drop a statement though: “Due to record breaking traffic and unprecedented demand for our Valentine’s Day launch, our Skims site has crashed. Shopify is working to resolve the issue asap. If you were unable to check out, please try to do so again soon and we will also notify you when we are fully back up again. Thank you for your patience.”
As Valentine's Day approaches, it's no wonder folks are in a frenzy to snag one of SKIMS' adorable V-day sets.
Kim Kardashian Regrets Letting Daughter North West Wear Makeup
Kim recently launched SKKN BY KIM, bringing back the new and improved iconic lip liners, lipsticks, and matte eyeshadows. She also dished about her stance on allowing her 10-year-old daughter to rock a bold red lipstick in a recent interview with Bustle.
“I look back and there's times when I remember I let my daughter wear a red lip once for Christmas. Would I do that now? Probably not,” said the fashion icon.
If you've been keeping up with TikTok, you've probably caught wind of the "Sephora 10 Year Olds" horror stories shared by customers and employees. However, Kim wants you to know that North is anything but your average 10-year-old Sephora kid when it comes to makeup. "I don't think she’s there yet to where she is going into Sephora and trying on stuff,” she reveals.
Who needs Sephora when your mom is the mastermind behind her own makeup and skincare line? She also spilled the beans that her kids are constantly raiding her drawers for beauty treasures.
"You know what, they are always trying to use everything that I have in my drawers. I'm down for the artistry. I think it's fun when they're trying it all and expressing themselves," Kim said.
