Despite being known for her memorable crying face meme, Kim Kardashian recently confessed that expressing emotions doesn’t come easily to her.

During the June 20th episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the reality star, 43, sat down with friends to discuss her acting career aspirations. “You need less Botox for more emotions—and I don’t have it,” the SKIMS mogul said.

Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Her Botox Injections—And The Effect They Can Have On Her Acting Aspirations

The mom of four continued: “I’m not going to be gaining 500 pounds for a role and losing a million. That’s just not where I need to be.” While Kardashian noted she is grateful for her role in American Horror Story: Delicate, she is cautious about taking on more demanding roles. Regarding her Botox injections, she continued: “How am I going to cry? How am I going to be scared out of my mind? I cannot move.”

In a confessional scene on her family’s show, Kardashian dished: “I can do a movie a year. I’ve got about 10 years where I still look good, so that’s all I’ve got in me. And then I’ll take some time off.” The SKKN founder also shared that she has considered a “female 007,” or a gender-swapped James Bond-like role. “”I really love the idea of being a female 007. Bond Boys with a female 007? That would be epic,” she noted.

American Horror Story: Delicate aired from September 20, 2023, to April 24, 2024, unfolding its chilling tale in two riveting segments. The series featured Kardashian as Siobhan Corbyn, a formidable publicist with ancient witchcraft powers and the confidante of Anna Victoria Alcott, portrayed by Emma Roberts.

Kardashian previously got candid about her Botox injections in a 2022 interview with Allure. The beauty icon stressed that she never got plastic surgery. She talked about the cosmetic procedures she has undergone while also revealing her nine-step skincare line SKKN by Kim. She shared that she’ll “do anything to look and feel youthful.”

Her skincare routine, she said, includes nighttime laser treatments that she uses after her four children (North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5) go to sleep. “I really, genuinely care about looking good,” she told the outlet for its August 2022 cover story. “I probably care more than 90 percent of the people on this planet. It’s not easy when you’re a mom and you’re exhausted at the end of the day or you’re in school, and I’m all of the above.”

She also noted that she has “never” gotten filler in her “cheeks or lips,” and that she doesn’t use eyelash extensions, either. A bit of “Botox in her forehead” is all she said she had in her face at the time.

“But I’ve chilled, actually,” she added regarding her Botox routine. When asked abut her lips and cheeks, she replied, “No filler. Never filled either one, ever.”

Despite speculation from fans that Kardashian’s facial features and physique have transformed dramatically over time—and that she might have had more procedures than she’s admitted toshe has only acknowledged receiving Botox in her forehead and neck, along with laser treatments.
