Prince Andrew Reportedly 'Isn't Going Anywhere' While King Charles Battles Cancer
The Duke of York isn't exactly going to be left homeless if he moves out of Royal Lodge though, as he was given the much smaller Frogmore Cottage, i.e., Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's former U.K. residence, after King Charles evicted them last year. However, he isn't interested in the five-bedroom residence or any other property, as he is determined to stay at Royal Lodge.
"Andrew isn't going anywhere for the time being," The King author Christopher Andersen revealed to Fox News Digital, before going on to say that, as much as King Charles wants his brother to vacate the property, he can't do much about it at the moment due to his health.
Prince Andrew May Leave Royal Lodge If He Can No Longer Afford To 'Keep The Lights On'
"It's doubtful that King Charles – who, along with his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton, is battling cancer – is in the mood for a knockdown drag-out with his brother," Andersen continued.
"If and when Andrew does move, it will simply be because he doesn't have the money to heat Royal Lodge or keep the lights on," he added. "In the meantime, Frogmore will likely remain empty. It's worth noting that the King had better luck evicting Andrew from Buckingham Palace, where the Duke of York has maintained his private apartment for decades."
