King Charles Is Reportedly Still ‘Extremely Sad’ Following Prince Harry’s Bombshell Memoir, New Book Claims

Royal expert Robert Hardman just released a new biography: Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story and it has some pretty interesting insider information on the royal family. According to the book, the feud between the ex-royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and the royal family is nowhere near an end. Though King Charles is “extremely sad” about the rift, he’s “too busy to dwell” on it. Keep reading for more information.

New Royal Biography Reveals How King Charles Really Feels About Prince Harry

After Prince Harry released his memoir, Spare, just about one year ago, the rift between him and his wife and the royal family became even deeper. With many bombshell revelations, including Charles reportedly telling him that he wouldn’t financially support him and Meghan, William reportedly not wanting him to be his best man, and other things that don’t necessarily paint the royal family in a good light, it’s understandable that they did not remain close.

Charles II: New King. New Court. The Inside Story sheds some light on how King Charles really feels about the situation. Apparently, he was left feeling “exasperated” by Harry’s betrayals, but is simply “too busy to dwell” on the rift.

Hardman also claims that both Charles and William haven't read Harry's book, but have been briefed on the key points. "Of course," Hardman says. "the King is extremely sad about Harry and Meghan but there is a sense of exasperation that he has done what he can and now he is King, there are many more things to think about."

Royal Fan Reactions

Many royal fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the new book. "Charles is allowed to be sad that his acknowledged son, Harry, turned out to be power and money hungry, and a traitor to his family and country," one person wrote.

"King Charles made himself clear a long time ago," another fan wrote. "He sends his love as they pursue their lives overseas."

"Charles may be upset at Harry's betrayals, but at least he is strong enough to not allow Harry and Meghan to stay in any royal residences," a third fan added.

"It's so sad when a family can't get along," one fan wrote.

"The King is absolutely entitled to be sad that his son is treating his family in such a horrible manner," a final fan wrote. "Harry could have absolutely stepped away from his role as a senior royal and just lived quietly with Meghan, but no - they had to continuously be hateful."
