Don’t expect Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to spend the summer at Balmoral Castle with other members of the royal family, as insiders believe that King Charles will *not* be inviting them.
King Charles and Queen Camilla are reportedly expected to head to the Scottish Highlands towards the end of next month for their annual summer vacation. And while they may have some visitors such as Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, he has reportedly made it clear that he will not be extending an invitation to his youngest son and his family. Yikes!
King Charles Will Reportedly Not Invite Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To Balmoral
According to the Daily Mail's royal correspondent Rebecca English, King Charles was asked whether he would be inviting Prince Harry and Meghan to Balmoral this summer, and he reportedly very bluntly replied: "No way."
The pub said that when English "asked a well-placed source whether Harry could bring his children to see the King at Balmoral this summer, the answer was a resounding snort."
King Charles has only met Prince Archie a few times since his birth, and reportedly has only met Princess Lilibet once. Prince Harry and Meghan did reportedly try to rectify this by sending him an invitation to Lilibet's christening in California, but the monarch declined.
Although there are some conflicting reports about where King Charles currently stands with grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, more recent reports have claimed that the situation is very "complicated." This is due to the ongoing royal feud and all the negative things Prince Harry has said about the royal family over the past few years.
According to a recent report by the Daily Mail, the situation between Prince Harry and his father has been "complicated" by "Harry's repeated attacks on his father and family and his dogged insistence in the U.K. courts that he isn't safe bringing his family to the U.K."
