Prince Harry‘s U.S. visa was reportedly in jeopardy ever since he confessed to using drugs in his bombshell memoir, Spare, which was released in January 2023. It was feared that he could face deportation once Donald Trump took to the White House, as he has made no secret of his low opinion of the royal and his wife, Meghan Markle.
However, Trump recently confirmed that he wouldn’t be deporting Prince Harry (while also making a cruel jab at the former Suits actress) which a royal expert has claimed will undoubtedly make King Charles “relieved.” Keep reading for more information…

Royal Expert Thinks Donald Trump Wouldn't Have Actually Deported Prince Harry: 'He Has Other Priorities'
If you recall, when asked whether he would deport Prince Harry, Trump told the New York Post: "I don't want to do that. I'll leave him alone. He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible."
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital that he didn't believe Trump would have ever actually deported the Invictus Games founder, saying: "Trump was never likely to deport Harry, regardless of what he included on his visa application form."
"He has other priorities and also knows it would make them popular in Hollywood, something they have otherwise failed to achieve," he continued, adding: "This would have been ironic. Now we know it won't happen."

King Charles Is Reportedly 'Relieved' Donald Trump Doesn't Want To Deport Prince Harry
Either way, Fitzwilliams claimed that King Charles would have been "likely relieved" by Trump's statement, as having Prince Harry in the U.S. and not the U.K. will be much better for his health and wellbeing.
This was echoed by royal expert Hillary Fordwich, who told the pub that King Charles "is and has always been conflict averse."
She went on to say: "Regarding his wayward son Harry, it's far better that he remains out of sight and out of mind. [Charles] remains focused on both his cancer recovery and dedication to duty, serving his people."

The Royal Family Reportedly 'Do Not Trust The Sussexes'
Fitzwilliams went on to explain that Prince Harry facing deportation would be terrible for the royal family, as it would invite a lot of unwanted publicity, and could even cause Prince Harry to spill even more secrets about the family than he already has.
"It would put the spotlight back [on] the Sussexes. Harry would undoubtedly appeal. The publicity would be ceaseless," Fitzwilliams speculated.
"Apart from the fact that the royal family is the [U.K.] government's trump card in dealing with the most unpredictable president of them all, Harry is in self-imposed exile and the royal family have health struggles and do not trust the Sussexes," Fitzwilliams added.
