King Charles Will Reportedly Ban Prince Harry & Meghan Markle From His Coronation If They Attack Camilla In Bombshell Memoir

King Charles III allegedly has a very specific ultimatum for his son and daughter-in-law when it comes to his coronation. The monarch, 73, will reportedly prevent Prince Harry, 38, and his wife Meghan Markle, 41, from attending the historical event if the Duke of Sussex’s upcoming memoir somehow bashes the king’s wife, Camilla, Queen Consort, 75.
An anonymous insider source supposedly told the Daily Beast, “It is one thing for Harry to attack Charles, he can take it on the chin, but if Harry forces him to choose, by laying into Camilla in his book, I have no doubt he will choose Camilla.” The source also dished that Charles is “incredibly protective” of his second wife. Another royal insider reportedly told the outlet that the Sussexes are on a tentative list for the ceremony that will take place next year, “leaving the door open for [them] to get the call up — or be excluded.”
In July of 2021, Page Six reported that Harry was writing a book, and plans to release it in 2023. While the prince’s memoir was initially set for a November 2022 publication, this date was pushed back this summer. Royal biographer Tom Bower said in an interview with the publication this month that Charles and his family members are “hugely nervous” about the book, dubbing it to be a “time bomb.”
Bower noted that he expects Harry’s book to come out “around Easter,” adding that it will feature a chapter about his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral last month. “There’ll just be more material about how they were snubbed and all the rest of the invective against the royal family,” Bower explained. “So I think to that extent, the delay will add to the poison.”
