People Are So Mad About Kourtney Kardashian’s Latest Instagram Post—Is This For Real?!

Kourtney Kardashian may have gotten the approval of her 159 million followers when she recently posted a makeup free selfie to her Instagram Story, but her latest Instagram post hasn’t quite got the same reaction. The 42-year-old Poosh founder was called out by fans for dramatically “changing her style” since dating – and getting engaged to – 46-year-old Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, after she posted a picture of herself on Friday, January 7th, sporting punk rock inspired dark eye makeup and wearing a vintage Guns N’ Roses tee. We love the sartorial risks Kourtney is taking these days, but it doesn’t seem like the whole internet is in agreement!
The mom-of-three treated her fans to a carousel of fun pictures of herself posing in her new attire, and also credited celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero and celebrity makeup artist Wendi Miyake for the respective hair and makeup looks. The first picture in the four-picture carousel was Kourtney teasing the camera with a smouldering and seductive pose, while the second featured a very provocative pout, which we are almost certain was for the benefit of her new fiancé.
The third shot showed off Kourtney’s more playful and newfound punk rock side, as she cheekily posed with her tongue out, while the final one showed off her deep brown eyes and always highly-coveted eyelashes. However, among many of the approving comments from fans were comments calling out the eldest Kardashian sister for seemingly not having her own style. “You conform to every person you date,” one IG user accused, while another replied to the comment by adding, “guarantee she knows zero lyrics to a GnR song,” in reference to Kourt’s Guns N’ Roses T-shirt.
Another fan agreed with the first comment, but suggested that perhaps she shouldn’t need to change her style, as Travis “fell in love” with her before, when her style was much different. “Hope you don’t loose your touch @kourtneykardash and realize that you’re changing and that he fell in love with you before,” the comment read. Another fan stood up for Kourt, and made a very interesting point about taking an interest in your new partner’s likes and hobbies. The comment read: “When you get into a real relationship you take on eachothers interests and you do more things together. And then some things you have for yourself. This is normal.”
