Younger sister Kylie Jenner giving birth to her second child earlier this month must have made Kourtney Kardashian extra-broody, as some of the 42-year-old Poosh founder’s close friends are hinting that she and 46-year-old fiancé Travis Barker are actively “trying” to get pregnant! Wow! Although we’re not really that surprised!
“Right when they got serious, Kourt and Travis decided to put effort into getting pregnant,” an insider told Us Weekly, before saying that the couple – who got engaged in October last year – are currently “trying to get there in the natural way” but they could also be “looking at IVF.” Either way, thinking about children was, according to the insider, “a no-brainer for both of them because they’ve set their hearts on a big family and agreed there was no point in delaying or waiting to be married first.”
The former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and the Blink 182 drummer are seemingly nailing the blended family life, as evidenced by many posts on social media over the past few months. And many sources have also confirmed it multiple times too! Kourtney shares Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7 with ex Scott Disick, while Travis shares 18-year-old son Landon and 16-year-old daughter Alabama with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
"Their close friends and family are all aware it’s in the works and that it’s just a matter of time before she confirms the news they’re expecting," the insider added. "Both of them are certain it’s the right path. Kourtney just melts seeing how great Travis is with his own kids, and he has been a model gentleman with her and Scott's too. They just adore him. It’s going to be a beautiful journey that ends with them blending their families as one and they cannot wait."
