Kris Jenner's 69th Birthday Celebrations Cause A Stir On Instagram
This isn't the first time the Kardashian/Jenner family have angered fans for taking things too far for birthdays and other special occasions; and we doubt it'll be the last!
Kris Jenner clearly didn't want to save the outlandish celebrations for her 70th birthday, as her 69th birthday seemed to have it all! According to some pictures that were posted on Instagram, part of the momager's birthday included blowing out candles on a very intricately-decorated cake while wearing pajamas adorned with her face on them. She appeared to have at least four cakes in total, according to Instagram, with another picture showing one of the other cakes covered in white icing with the number '69' written on it.
And it wasn't just the birthday girl who was wearing those personalized pajamas, as daughter Kourtney Kardashian shared a picture on Instagram of other family members, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, wearing them too. Khloé Kardashian also shared her own picture of herself wearing the pajamas with her mom's face on.
Internet Reactions
Naturally, the internet had a lot to say about the birthday celebrations, especially on a Reddit thread titled: 'Cringe overload looking at these pajamas plastered with Kris's not-so-natural, definitely-not-69-year-old face. OVERBOARD'
"Those Kris Jenner silk pajama sets are the epitome of narcissism," slammed one fan on Reddit, as a second replied, "I wonder how soon they'll be up for resale in the Kloset?!"
"These PJs are not cute," criticized a third, as a fourth said: "Ugh, this family is so self-obsessed." "I'm so sick of their stupid matching pajamas for every [expletive] occasion. They put their faces or names on everything. They couldn't be more self-obsessed," wrote another Reddit user, followed by the eye rolling emoji.
"That's a whole lot of Kris," quipped another user, as someone else agreed: "Too much!" "Too much money and time on their hands, more products destined for a landfill," someone else commented, as another user concurred: "Every occasion is marked by an avalanche of landfill."
