Kristen Stewart Dons An Edgy Sheer Chanel Gown For The Berlin International Film Festival

Kristen Stewart stole the spotlight at the Berlin Film Festival in a chic Chanel dress that helped flaunt her sculpted abs and toned legs. The Oscar nominee, 32, graced the closing ceremony’s red carpet in a structured, sheer black dress with suit-like details and an overall punky yet preppy feel that only she could pull off!
The Spencer star donned the luxury French label’s long-sleeved, see-through and ankle-length number and a high-waisted black lingerie bottom underneath its transparent fabric. The item also featured a button-up neckline, strategically placed knitted black accents and a tiered, long skirt.
Stewart— a Chanel ambassador since 2013 and avid fan of the sultry sheer trend— added edgy black heeled booties to complete her look. As for her grungy makeup to complement her get-up, the Charlie’s Angels alum went for fiery red eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, jet-black eyeliner, rosy blush on her high cheekbones and a glossy pink lip to top it all off.
The Happiest Season actress styled her chin-length brunette tresses into a spiky, layered and wavy mini mullet, with strands elegantly framing her face. Regarding accessories, Stewart went for a more minimal look and showcased her intricate tattoos with the help of her frock’s see-through fabric.
Stewart acknowledged her appointment as jury president for the event at a press conference at the beginning of the festival. She said to the crowd, per Screen Daily, “It’s such a rare indulgence to be able to talk about the thing you’re obsessed with—which in my case is movies—when you’re not promoting it or making one.” She added, “It wasn’t my decision to be here, I was shocked that they called me; it’s an enormous opportunity to have a hand in highlighting beautiful things in a time where that’s hard to hold.”
She continued, “It’s the job of an artist to take a disgusting and ugly thing and transmute it, put it through your body, and pop out something more beautiful and more helpful. Something considered and not something knee-jerk reactive. We’re living in the most reactive, emotionally whiplashed time. To sit and have a moment to digress and see what people have pumped out of their own bodies—that was an opportunity I couldn’t say no to.”
