Following Kylie Jenner’s recent appearance on the red carpet, her critics were appalled by the sight of her lips. The reality star, 26, attended the Wall Street Journal Innovators Awards in New York City last week, donning a curve-hugging black bustier gown that left fans awestruck.
However, numerous users on Reddit couldn’t help but fixate on what they deemed to be a “botched” lip job, fueling further rumors about Jenner’s alleged facial surgical enhancements. Despite admitting to getting lip fillers in the past, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul continues to face criticism from those who remain “horrified” by her lips, as seen in a recent forum and discussion thread.

After Jenner graced the event red carpet, Redditors began sharing their thoughts on her makeup for the night, and debating why her lips looked "strange" or "lopsided," as one wrote.
"Top lip is horrifying," another wrote as someone else replied: "she did something new to her face to looks this extra botched." One other chimed in: "There’s more of a droop on one side. I wonder if it’s a nerve issue. Plastic surgery can cause so many diff complications."
During a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal magazine, Jenner asserted that she has "never" undergone lip surgery, which is a response to previous rumors surrounding her appearance. When she was only 16 years old, she initially denied getting lip fillers, but later revealed her decision and expressed remorse for not being truthful about it from the start.
Reflecting on her insecurities, Jenner acknowledged her missteps and aimed to be more honest in the future. As she memorably told Complex at the time: ” [My lips] have been an insecurity of mine all my life. I wish I had just been honest and upfront.”
After seven years, the founder of Khy is standing firm in her claim that the only cosmetic procedures she has undergone are lip fillers and breast augmentation. Despite being accused of other procedures by social media users, including buccal fat removal, a Brazilian butt lift, a nose job, eyelid surgery, and more, she vehemently denies ever having had them.
During her recent chat with WSJ, the mom of two shared how motherhood has provided her with a fresh perspective on her life choices. Furthermore, she expressed how observing her 5-year-old daughter Stormi's natural beauty has caused her to regret the alterations she made to her own features in the past.
"My daughter has totally taught me a lot more about myself, and seeing myself in her has changed everything," Jenner told the outlet. "I’ve had so much growth and am just embracing natural beauty."
Jenner shares daughter Stormi and 1-year-old son Aire with her ex, Travis Scott (and the she is currently linked to actor Timothée Chalamet, who also attended the same recent awards ceremony event and sat at a table with her).
She went on, telling the publication: "I’m teaching [my daughter Stormi] about mistakes that I made and making sure she knows she’s just perfect exactly how she is." As for the "mistakes," Jenner referred to these as "surgery when I was younger."
Apart from lip fillers, Jenner said: "I’ve never touched my face, but just even getting my breasts done when I was 19 and getting pregnant soon after, not obviously planning to be pregnant at 19. And I was never insecure about myself."
During a third season episode of Hulu's The Kardashians, Jenner addressed the persistent plastic surgery rumors that had been circulating among social media users for quite some time. "One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false," she said, adding: "I’ve only gotten [lip] fillers."
Some social media users, however, seem to remain unconvinced and still believe that she's had more work done than that.
